OMG, Jen has come a long ways from an uncredited part in "Mac And Me" to earning DGA nomination for the awesome 'Five'

It's rumored that John took the name 'Aniston' from his papa who drove through the Alabama town of 'Anniston'. 'Aniston' is on Jen's Birth certificate. Later on Jennifer and her mother headed east following the sad divorce of her parents. Jen graduated the famed La Guardia High School in New York where she met longtime friend Andrea Bendewald. After graduating High School, Jen worked coffee bars around her insane auditioning schedule. The irony being Jen's characters in Friends (1994), Office Space (1999), The Iron Giant (1999) and Along Came Polly (2004) were all waitresses.

As great as these roles were, New York was proving slim pickings. Jen knew the time was right to reconnect with her dad and his new wife, Sherry Rooney. Jen also had a older half brother - John T. Melick, has a sister -Mary Aniston.; younger half brother - Alexander Aniston, & sister -in- law Shannon Melick.

When Jen arrived in L.A she immediately reconnected with High School best friend Andrea Bendewald. Tons of hardwork & auditions later:- Jen starred in Malloy, Ferris Bueller, The Edge, Herman's Head, Quantum Leap, Larry Sanders Show, Partners, Burke's Law, Muddling Through, Camp Cucamonga, Leprachuan and yeah, the most famous T.V comedy show in history- Friends. At one point in 2003, 5 '6" Jen was filming Friends (1994), Bruce Almighty (2003), & Along Came Polly (2004) simultaneously. Nobody can doubt how hard Ms. Aniston always works. Jen definately deserves her well-earned vacations.

Jen experienced the struggles of acting. Learning to do without and living hand- to- mouth, Jennifer's father John, didn't always know where the next pay check was coming from. Not surprisingly, John didn't initially endorse Jen's decision to pursue a career in the same industry.
